The original London Bridge is now in Arizona

The 1831 London Bridge was sold, meticulously disassembled, and rebuilt in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, becoming a major tourist attraction far from its original home.

Believe it or not, the London Bridge you might picture is actually in Arizona! Built in 1831, this historic bridge began to sink into the Thames River. In 1968, the City of London sold it to American entrepreneur Robert McCulloch for $2.46 million.
