In a departure from the durable, spill resistant materials typically found in nightlife venues, a cocktail bar in London's Marylebone district has opted for a floor covered entirely in soft red velvet. The design choice by studio Golem transforms the ground into a sensitive medium that captures and retains the physical imprint of every person who walks across it.
