People spend over a third of phone time unintentionally
A study of British adults reveals that 36 percent of daily mobile use happens without a specific purpose, often leaving users feeling worse.
While most people pick up their smartphones with a clear goal, such as checking the weather, using a map, or sending a message, a significant portion of digital life is accidental. A survey of adults in the United Kingdom found that the average person spends four hours a day on their phone, but 36 percent of that time is entirely unintentional.
