Wombat poop is cube-shaped

Wombats are the only animals that produce cube-shaped poop! They excrete these unique cubes to mark their territory, stacking them on rocks and logs where the cubic shape prevents them from rolling away. Scientists discovered that varied elasticity in their intestines, with stiff and stretchy sections, molds the feces into cubes like a biological die. Each wombat can produce 80-100 cubes nightly.
