Every year, Ukraine pauses to honor the 'Heavenly Hundred,' the courageous protesters who lost their lives during the 2014 Revolution of Dignity while fighting for a democratic and European future.

The Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes commemorates the activists killed during the Euromaidan protests in February 2014. These individuals, ranging from students to pensioners, were fired upon by government snipers during a tense standoff in Kyiv’s Independence Square. Their sacrifice led to the ousting of a corrupt administration and shifted Ukraine's political trajectory toward the West.
