Agencies like SM, YG, and JYP scout trainees as young as 11, subjecting them to demanding programs that include vocal, dance, and language lessons. These rigorous regimens can last two to seven years, with trainees practicing up to 18 hours daily in a highly competitive environment. Only a select few debut, like BTS members who trained for three to five years.
