South Korea is treating artificial intelligence as a public utility by constructing what it calls an AI Highway. To fuel this infrastructure, the government is investing 2.08 trillion won to procure 9,704 high-performance graphics processing units. These chips, which include advanced Vera Rubin and B300 models, are being installed in domestic data centers to provide a centralized computing reservoir for universities, research institutes, and private companies.
