South Korea trades hydrogen power on a specialized exchange
The nation treats hydrogen electricity as a unique commodity, forcing producers to compete for grid contracts in a first of its kind marketplace.

Rather than bundling all renewables together, this system treats hydrogen generated electricity as a distinct commodity. Producers must now compete for long term contracts to supply the national grid, a move designed to drive down costs through open market competition.
