Apple software can now detect and blur violent videos
New safety features automatically identify and obscure harmful content, such as blood or violence, to protect younger users across the entire operating system.
Apple is expanding its safety protections for minors by introducing system-wide detection for harmful visual content. While previous iterations focused primarily on identifying nudity, the updated software now automatically detects and blurs images or videos containing blood and graphic violence. When such content is identified on a child's device, the system obscures the media and sends a notification to the parent's iPhone.
