On July 10, 1985, an Aeroflot Tupolev Tu-154 stalled and plummeted into the ground near Uchkuduk, claiming the lives of everyone on board. Investigation revealed that the flight crew had been awake for over 24 hours, leading to a fatal lack of judgment during a high-altitude climb.
