In 1510, the Ming Dynasty faced a significant internal threat when Zhu Zhifan, the Prince of Anhua, launched a rebellion against the Zhengde Emperor. The prince hoped to capitalize on growing resentment toward the emperor's inner circle, but his uprising was short-lived. Commander Qiu Yue led the imperial response, decisively defeating the rebel army and capturing the prince within eighteen days of the revolt's start.
