The Sargasso Sea is the only sea without any land borders

While every other sea on Earth is defined by its contact with land, the Sargasso Sea exists entirely within the Atlantic Ocean, bounded only by four powerful rotating currents.

The Sargasso Sea is a unique biological wonder defined by its moving boundaries rather than solid coastlines. This distinctive ecosystem spans roughly 1,100 kilometers in width and 3,200 kilometers in length.
